Henry aka 'Enery

Sweet, precious baby Henry is going to have his surgery in two weeks.
He is so loving and good natured that I am sure he will do as well as any baby who has undergone the surgery for craniosynostosis.
The Lord has blessed him with many loving family members and friends who are praying for every aspect of his surgery.
God has also sent people into Leah's and Matt's lives whose children have also undergone the surgery and without exception ALL of the children have healed amazingly well.
Henry's head will be swollen for a few days and his eyes will most likely be swollen shut.
Those few days will be tough for him and for those of us who love him.
However, after those few days, they are told that he will return to his normal, happy self very quickly. He should resume all of his former activities....rolling, trying to crawl, singing..
laughing, watching people.....
What a very special and precious baby little Henry is...
I call him 'Enery because of the song "Henry the 8th" by Herman's Hermits,
a band from England from the late 60's- early '70's.
Actually, Henry has his own song to the tune of "Henry the 8th".

Two More......
This week at Spanish Camp Peej fell during recess and chipped his front tooth!):
Even though I know it is one of his Baby Teeth it still breaks my heart to see a flaw in that perfect little smile of his.
This picture was made BEFORE the chip. I'll be sure to post the chip as soon as possible.
He was very "brave of it" as he says. I told him that he would look even
"tougher" than he does now and he seemed to like that!!
Brooke said that Peej had gotten up about 3:00 am and come downstairs to their room.
When he got in the bed between Daddy and Mommy,
Daddy put an arm around him and they snuggled up close to Mommy.
Peej said, "Ah, Daddy. This is what families are all about."
Precious!
He really does have such a tender heart.
AND he is so beautiful when he's asleep.....
Uh, I mean tough!!

Birthday Cake and Conversation
A couple of weeks ago on a Sunday morning Brooke, Peter and Bennett were getting ready for church. Peej was already dressed and ready to go. So when they went into the kitchen to leave
they discovered that Peej was making his birthday cake.
He had the mixing bowl in the floor filled with milk and he had the egg carton on the floor and had already cracked two of them into the bowl.
No spilled milk...no mess from the eggs. The broken egg shells were neatly placed back in the egg carton. So sweet and precious and precocious!! What a special little boy!!
Fast foreword a week or so to my phone conversation with Peej on his REAL birthday.
Peej..."And I had my fake birthday at Chuck E Cheese yesterday...and my fake birthday at school and my fake birthday when you and Aunt Leah and Uncle Matt and Henry were here!
Love that Peej!!
