After we went to the zoo we ate lunch at a
great deli.
Honey had gotten matching shirts for
all of the boys so they are showing them off!
Love these boys soooooo much!

Benny enjoyed talking on Henry's phone

Peej is acting silly!

I love Henry's food face smile!!!

Zoo Trip

On December 23rd, Brooke's actual Birthday, we took a trip to the zoo.
Honey, Donny, Brooke, Peej, Benny, Matt, Leah and Henry
all piled into 2 cars and we headed to the zoo
along with about 400 other people who
had the same idea.

Henry got a ride on his Daddy's shoulders

Henry and Benny also rode in the wagon which was fun!

The elephants were a treat because of the babies!

Somewhere in there are Peej, Benny, Brooke and Honey
I think you can see Honey's hand waving!

One the First Day of Christmas.....It Was Brooke's Birthday

Donny and I arrived in H Town around 6:00 pm after a
looonnngg ride from Birmingham beginning at 6:00 am.

We were greeted by 2 sweet little boys with
another one on his way soon.

Brooke had cooked a delicious meal for us which we
ate in the dining room with all the boys.
Henry is enjoying eating from his Daddy's plate
or rather sitting in his Daddy's lap.

Benny actually climbed up onto the middle of the table before dinner
but by the time I got my camera he had climbed down.

As you can tell, he enjoyed his food!

The Water Line

What do you think happens when we you are busy Christmas shopping
for a large extended family AND
you have committed to paying an arm and a leg for
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS
to see your team...
THE AUBURN TIGERS
play in Glendale, AZ?

Well, we got our water bill a couple of weeks ago and,
no kidding, it was 10 (ten) times what it usually is.
When Donovan went to check the meter it was spinning
around like the Wheel of Fortune.

The plumber couldn't find the leak in our 50 year old pipes so
Do it yourself Donovan decided to see if he could find it.

Soooooo, he started digging and he dug and dug for 2 days while I was in Houston.

He never found the leak but we did get a new water line.
Actually the leak is most likely under that pine tree
that is in the picture.

The plumber and I agreed that the ditch was the most perfect ditch we had ever seen.
He dug almost 100 feet!

A Weekend With The Boys

Brooke and Peter went to Memphis for the weekend to Peter's cousin's wedding so guess who got to keep the boys? HONEY! We had a wonderful time.

Our first order of business was to go to the grocery store.
Peej was at school so Benny and I made the trip.
He had fun eating his animal crackers and
singing the Christmas carols that were playing on the sound system.

We drove through Mickey D's after we picked Peej up from
school. Milkshake and McFlurry...MMMMMM!

Peej had to show us the candy on his tongue!

NEXT........................

We updated the Advent calendar which was given to HONEY by
one of my 4th grade students right before Brooke was born...32 years ago!

THEN............

We rode big wheels
AND..................

We had pillow fights
AND...........

We played hide and seek
AND...........

We read books, wore helmets, built towers,
AND...............

We went to our friend Wes Coazr's 2nd birthday party!!

We had a wonderful time at The Little Gym doing
all kinds of gymnastic activities!

Then, on Sunday.......

We played David and Goliath
Peej's expression looks like
"Honey made me do this" but I promise you
I did not come up with this outfit!

Peej, Jessica, David's girlfriend, and I made BROWNIES! Yum!

Peej and Jessica are putting up another ornament on the Advent Tree.

We had a great time.......

And at the end of the weekend, on Monday morning,
Peej rests peacefully after a busy 3 days

Auburn SEC Champs Pictures

The CHAMP!!

Notice all the Auburn apparel
I've worn that shirt to every game.
I tried to wear a different one to the Georgia game
but brought this one and ended up changing in the restroom
when we were behind

South Eastern Conference

Love that score!!

IT IS GREAT TO BE AN AUBURN TIGER

WOO HOO! We are headed to Glendale !!

No pix for this post because it is 4:45 am and I haven't been asleep for an hour and I'm too lazy to get the camera out right now...BUT, Pix are on their way.

Donovan, my friend since third grade, Sharon Kiker, and I went to the game together and it was a PERFECT day.

We parked at the Capital City Club, ate lunch there, walked to the game from there!

Our tickets were GREAT! We were in an all Auburn section on the 35 yard line and were provided with shakers, etc. This time we face the Auburn bench and got to see the action from the front instead of the back!

The game spoke for itself. We were expecting a close nail biter and it turned out to be a blow out!

AND...I was at the mall on Sunday and saw a guy with a brand new SEC champs shirt on so he led me to the kiosk and I promptly bought 6 shirts for us, family and friends!

Yep, it is GREAT to be an Auburn Tiger!
