Zoo Trip
One the First Day of Christmas.....It Was Brooke's Birthday
Donny and I arrived in H Town around 6:00 pm after a
looonnngg ride from Birmingham beginning at 6:00 am.
We were greeted by 2 sweet little boys with
another one on his way soon.
Brooke had cooked a delicious meal for us which we
ate in the dining room with all the boys.
or rather sitting in his Daddy's lap.

The Water Line
What do you think happens when we you are busy Christmas shopping
for a large extended family AND
you have committed to paying an arm and a leg for
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS
to see your team...
THE AUBURN TIGERS
play in Glendale, AZ?
Well, we got our water bill a couple of weeks ago and,
no kidding, it was 10 (ten) times what it usually is.
When Donovan went to check the meter it was spinning
around like the Wheel of Fortune.
The plumber couldn't find the leak in our 50 year old pipes so
Do it yourself Donovan decided to see if he could find it.
Soooooo, he started digging and he dug and dug for 2 days while I was in Houston.
He never found the leak but we did get a new water line.
Actually the leak is most likely under that pine tree
that is in the picture.
The plumber and I agreed that the ditch was the most perfect ditch we had ever seen.
He dug almost 100 feet!

A Weekend With The Boys
Brooke and Peter went to Memphis for the weekend to Peter's cousin's wedding so guess who got to keep the boys? HONEY! We had a wonderful time.
Our first order of business was to go to the grocery store.
Peej was at school so Benny and I made the trip.
He had fun eating his animal crackers and
singing the Christmas carols that were playing on the sound system.

I did not come up with this outfit!
Peej, Jessica, David's girlfriend, and I made BROWNIES! Yum!
We had a great time.......
Peej rests peacefully after a busy 3 days

Auburn SEC Champs Pictures
IT IS GREAT TO BE AN AUBURN TIGER
WOO HOO! We are headed to Glendale !!
No pix for this post because it is 4:45 am and I haven't been asleep for an hour and I'm too lazy to get the camera out right now...BUT, Pix are on their way.
Donovan, my friend since third grade, Sharon Kiker, and I went to the game together and it was a PERFECT day.
We parked at the Capital City Club, ate lunch there, walked to the game from there!
Our tickets were GREAT! We were in an all Auburn section on the 35 yard line and were provided with shakers, etc. This time we face the Auburn bench and got to see the action from the front instead of the back!
The game spoke for itself. We were expecting a close nail biter and it turned out to be a blow out!
AND...I was at the mall on Sunday and saw a guy with a brand new SEC champs shirt on so he led me to the kiosk and I promptly bought 6 shirts for us, family and friends!
Yep, it is GREAT to be an Auburn Tiger!
