Angel Class FAVORITE

 

Bennett is in the Angel Class this year at his school. Brooke just had her end of the year conference with his teacher(s) and they told her that they just LOVE Benny.

In fact, one of the teachers said that she talks about Bennett at home so much that her young daughter asked her if she loved Benny more than she loved her own children.

He is always (almost) happy and smiling and loving. He has  learned so much this year and the best part about it is that he will have these teachers next year as well!

Precious, Sweet Benny. Such a blessing to all of us!

POISON IVY or OAK?

I'm NOT going to post a picture but you have to know that I look like I have leprosy on the right side of my face and neck!

This happens every year but I never remember it starting out on my face and neck. Also, I had a cortisone shot on Tuesday which I thought would solve the redness, inflammation, and itching....and it DID for about 36 hours but then yesterday afternoon it got noticeably worse.

The Dr was not in when I called at 4:30 so I waited until this morning to get prednisone. Three 20 mg pills a day....After two pills I am still inflamed, itching and RED!

Also, when I take benadryl for the itching it makes me drowsy but I can't go to sleep because the prednizone makes me hyper. Drowsy + hyper does not mix well together!

We were supposed to go out to eat with our small group from church to CHUY'S and I was so excited. Tex Mex from Austin...but I couldn't be seen in public and also I am soooo jumpy from the prednizone..like a hopping jack rabbit.

We are also going to Auburn's A Day game tomorrow and I am praying that I am better and no longer look like a leper.

Someone needs to invent a preventative shot that is easy to get for poison ivy.
There are evidently some out there but not easy to find, homeopathic, and not always effective.

HELP ........I am a mad woman!

On Monday morning we went to visit Nana and Paw-Paw.

Benny and Henry were lying on the bed reading 

an Auburn Book.

I like the way Henry is looking at Bennett as if Bennett is really reading to him.

It is really hard to take pix when there are five children around. Plus my camera isn't the

greatest either. I have no pix of Nana and Paw Paw, or of the back yard, the puppies....
