We were so happy to attend Katelyn's graduation from Marbury High School last night.
Her Valedictory speech was absolutely wonderful. Content, presentation, enunciation, etc. made all of us proud! She was awarded several scholarships and will be attending Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.

We were hoping that she would come to Samford and be near us but we know that she'll be blissfully happy at Mercer with her wonderful brother, Marlin and cousin, Jonathan. They will take her under their wings, but she will be her own beautiful person!

We will miss her at the Auburn games next year. We'll miss seeing her perform in the color guard at the Marbury football halftime performance and just miss her presence when we go to visit. She has such a funny, dry sense of humor and she's really fun to be around.

No doubt, her college years will be filled with new friends, wonderful opportunities and great memories.
